Becoming Counseling

Hi! I`m McKinley. I am a licensed clinical social worker and affirming of all peoples. Everyone is welcome here. I am a Utah native but have spent time out of country and state. But, my family and loved ones are here and so its home. I have a history of trauma and have worked with many modalities to heal myself and generational wounds. I will never ask you to do something that I have not done myself. It matters that I get a glimpse into what our process is like for you. It's so important that in my presence you feel important- seen and heard. I strive to meet you on your journey and act as a guide, not a leader or teacher but just someone who can offer different perspectives and insights. But more importantly- guide you back to you. Everyone deserves healing. I stive to make healing fun, when appropriate, and to remind you to look for the joy in the mess. Life is heavy and constantly throwing things at us. Lets work together to put you on solid ground so you can sway with life`s changes rather than get thrown into the storm. I am also trained in ketamine assisted therapy.
